I am pleased to announce that the School of Materials Engineering, UniMAP is organizing a “Short Course on In-Situ Metallography for the Plant Life Assessment” as follows:

Venue: Complex of Diploma Education Center, School of Materials Engineering, Jalan Sarawak, Kuala Perlis, Perlis

Date: 1st – 2nd June 2009

This will be an opportunity for managers, engineers, technologists, technicians, researchers and all those interested in in-situ metallography (replica inspection) to learn and update their knowledge in field of metallography.

I would like to invite everyone interested to participate in the short course specially organized for those in industries as well as academics and researches in materials studies. I am sure that this event will provide you or your representative with great opportunity to establish good networking with colleagues from industries, academicians and researchers.

Please note that places for the short course are limited to only 25 participants.

I am pleased to announce that the Institute of Science, UiTM is organizing a "Workshop on Advanced Characterization Methods: XRD and NMR" as follows:

Venue: Grand Bluewave Hotel, Shah Alam/UiTM

Date: 27th - 30th April 2009


This will be an opportunity for researches, to learn and update their knowledge in the advanced characterization of materials using XRD and NMR techniques.
